Gower Gardens Residential Care Home Set in the West Midlands town of Halesowen, Gower Gardens is a purpose-built, luxury care home offering residential and dementia care.

Part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group. Gower Gardens is a purpose built, dementia friendly home, offering the highest quality of residential care in a stylish and homely environment. The home provides 66 en-suite rooms across three floors, all furnished to the highest standard. There are a range of lounges and quiet rooms, so that individuals are able to enjoy a varied lifestyle. Within the home there is also a purpose built cinema room, on-site hairdressing facilities and a café area. Our aim is to provide the right care, tailored to meet residents’ individual needs and preferences. We want to support residents to maximise their independence.

Today, we joyfully celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, which marks the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

This vibrant celebration is observed by millions around the world and is characterized by the lighting of lamps, fireworks, and sharing of sweets.

We enjoyed a video that highlighted the significance of this festival, exploring its rich history and cultural traditions.

Afterwards, we participated in a lively Bhangra dance class, embracing the energetic spirit of the festival. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Yesterday, we resumed our exciting ping pong games.

The objective was to see which side could place the most of their colored balls into the egg carton. Everyone had a great time with a bit of friendly competition, though it meant plenty of running around for our activity coordinators, Anne Marie and Matt.

This afternoon, we hosted our MacMillan Coffee Afternoon.

Families and residents came out in large numbers to support the incredible work that MacMillan does. We were also joined by Deputy Mayor Councillor Mushtaq Hussain and the Deputy Mayoress, along with live entertainment provided by Naomi.

Everyone enjoyed a delightful afternoon filled with singing, delicious cakes, and tea.

We want to express our gratitude to everyone who attended and donated, and we are pleased to announce that we raised £100.00. 💚💚
