If your skin suddenly stings, feels tight, or starts flaking… it might not be “bad skin.”
It might be too many acids, too often.

Your skin barrier works like a brick wall.
Skin cells = bricks.
Natural oils = the mortar holding it all together.

When you overdo AHAs, BHAs, or strong retinoids, that “mortar” gets worn down.
That’s when you see redness, sensitivity, and even more breakouts.

Sometimes better skin isn’t adding more — it’s slowing down.
Fewer actives. More support. Daily SPF.

If you like simple skin explanations that actually make sense, follow Harmony for more, it’s nice to meet you 😊❤️

You don’t need more products.
You need water in the skin.

During Ramadan, we see this a lot in clinic.
Skin feels tight, dull, irritated — even if your routine hasn’t changed.

That’s because hydration doesn’t just come from drinking water.
It’s also about how well your skin holds onto it.

This is why i make a simple hydration spray — mixing a few gentle toners into one bottle and misting throughout the day.

Think of dehydrated skin like a dry sponge.
You can pour water on it once… but it won’t stay soft unless it’s topped up.

Light layers of hydration, repeated, help the skin stay comfortable — especially when water intake is lower.

No trends.
No overcomplicating.
Just supporting the skin barrier so it can do its job.

Save this if your skin feels dry lately.
Or share it with someone fasting who keeps saying, “My skin just feels off.”

“I’ve heard CO₂ laser can cause really bad hyperpigmentation, but it’s also meant to be the best for scars. I’m confused.”

We hear this all the time in clinic, so let’s break it down.

Yes — skin of colour has a higher risk of pigmentation and prolonged redness.
But this risk is not because CO₂ laser is ‘bad’.

It’s about when and how it’s used.

Think of it like this.

If you barely walk 10 steps a day and a friend says, “Let’s climb a mountain tomorrow,” you’ll probably get injured.
Not because mountains are dangerous — but because your body isn’t prepared.

Does that mean you should never climb a mountain?
No. It means you need to train first.

Laser works the same way.

If you treat skin that is inflamed, fragile, or has a weak barrier, you increase the risk of pigmentation and irritation.
That isn’t the laser failing — it’s poor preparation.

CO₂ laser is one of the most effective treatments for scars, when the skin is ready for it.

That’s why we don’t rush.

We always work on:
    •    skin barrier repair
    •    inflammation control
    •    improving skin tolerance

Only then do we consider CO₂ laser.

Yes, it can take longer.
But the risk of complications drops significantly.

Our priority is skin health and safety — not speed.

Can we start by remembering that for every single treatment we donate to 🍉 Charities & that we cannot for one second forget the atrocities humanity is suffering every single minute.

I’m not joking like 5 patients said yesterday, Ayah thanks for sharing about 🍉 on your IG. I’m literally like erm? 🫤 how can the bare minimum, even if you can call it that be warranted a thank you. My goodness, where is our humanity. I feel like I am doing barely a thing to help, so I push my work knowing I can donate more money the more we generate.

Guys Harmony is and always has been about us all. Real human stories. Helping people feel their best. Helping bring confidence. Alongside that, doesn’t it mean we stand with the ones who are being wronged? Who are being erased from History? For me it isn’t a decision. Humanity is first. Always.

As for the above picture the beautiful Stephanie has had balancing toxin, where we identify muscles that don’t work in balance & use toxin to harmonise. It stops pull down muscles dominating. The result? I mean you can see for yourself 🥰

It isn’t magic, nor is it art. It’s intense hours of studying the head and neck anatomy so we can help everything move in harmony. ❤️ You can drop us a DM for more info 👉🏽 .medical

This is skin & muscles. I take it back. It isn’t magic. Its understanding the science of ageing & symmetry & trying to go back to basics. Its Facial Harmony™️. Botox used to balance facial movement. lasers to work on skin health. Radiofrequency microneedling, exosomes, skincare, vascular laser, laser genesis.

I see our patients like they’re training for the olympics. I don’t want just average changes. I want them to be wow. I love when patients come in and they’re literally glowing. Their skin is just 😍😍 - so like an olympian, we work hard. We work on it tirelessly. Because well, the results are perfect.

None of our transformations are * 5 mins later * because the truth is, it took you years to be where you are so we need to do it properly and make sure we address every layer of your face so that you get the best long term changes.

Collagen, elastin take months to build. Give me at least 3-6months and .medical can help. We’ve done it so many times. BUT only if you understand we want to look at you as a whole. Your way of living, supplementing, skin routines. We want you to be the best version of yourself both mentally and physically. Feel good, look good and no one can put their finger on it.

Long term science always. We can only do that though, when we know what’s actually going on with your skin / muscles. Thats why we analyse your skin on your first appointment. Then we can make a plan thats only for you, based on your own skin needs. Or sometimes i assess teeth & muscle health for your face to move in balance.

But basically we can’t fix something when we don’t know whats wrong. So, first we work it out, then we plan 💕

Yup. Thats my momma.

For my original harmony peeps, you’ll remember when i did her treatment back in 2020. Since then shes been having skin treatments with my team .medical - apparently they’re nicer than me so mum goes to them now 😂😂

She’s been having radiofrequency microneedling with .official exosomes and Co2 laser with profhilo.

And hey, the results speak for themselves right?

Harmony began at home. When I advise, i do it the same as i have done for myself.. for my own mum.

Have a look at her skin. Its far more taught. Even toned. Smoother & you can tell theres in increase in its health, in the collagen amount. The elasticity of the skin.

My mum was someone who basically washes her face with yoghurt and laughs if i tell her to wear suncream because ‘we don’t need to do that, we’re brown’ 😩 - but slowly we’ve transformed & i am hella proud.

Shes living proof, your age or history with skincare (or lack of) doesn’t define you. We’ve got you. We’re here to help 💕
