🌟 Meet Richard – Our Managing Director 🌟

Hi everyone, I’m Richard Burgess, the Managing Director of Right at Home Calderdale, and East Lancs & Ribble Valley.

I’ve been proud to call Calderdale home for over 20 years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to make a positive difference in our community every single day. My career background is in hospitality and the service industry, where I learned the importance of care, dedication, and going the extra mile — qualities I now bring into the world of homecare.

This role is also very personal to me. My late father lived with Alzheimer’s, and through that experience I became a recognised Dementia Friend. I’m now working towards becoming a Dementia Champion, so I can continue to build my understanding and help other families facing similar challenges.

For me, Right at Home is about more than just providing care — it’s about building trust, connection, and improving lives in the place we call home. 🧡
