**The End of an Era at CSS** 🩵

Yesterday, we celebrated the retirement of two incredible people Dawn and Danny who have poured their hearts, souls, and countless hours into making CSS what it is today. Their hard work, vision, and unwavering dedication have shaped not just a business, but a family, creating a service that has touched so many lives over the years.

From the very start, they built CSS with passion and determination, achieving the incredible milestone of becoming the first outstanding care company in Calderdale. Together, they’ve been the driving force behind everything CSS stands for—leading, supporting, and making a difference in ways too great to measure.

Their presence has been the heart of CSS, and while their retirement is well deserved, there’s no doubt that they will be deeply missed by staff, service users, and everyone who has been lucky enough to be part of this journey with them. Their legacy will live on, but their daily presence, guidance, and support will leave a space that simply can’t be filled.

Dawn and Danny, thank you for everything. Wishing you all the happiness and relaxation that retirement brings—you’ve earned every moment of it! 🩵

We’re thrilled to share that The Addy, has been actively participating in Active Calderdale's **Beat the Street** initiative! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Every step counts as we explore our local area, walking to different points to swipe our Beat the Street cards and collect points. It's been a fantastic way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and strengthen our community spirit. 🏞️✨

We’ve loved being part of this movement and seeing everyone get involved. Whether it’s a stroll through the park or a brisk walk to a nearby landmark, it’s amazing how much fun we can have together while promoting health and well-being.

🌟 Important Update: Day Services Open Tomorrow! 🌟

We're pleased to inform everyone that as it stands day services will be open tomorrow! However, please be advised that we are closely monitoring the conditions and following guidance from Calderdale Council regarding travel.

‼️For your safety, we urge everyone to exercise caution when traveling, as our car park and pathways may be icy. If you're coming in, please take extra care. Day Service staff will be on hand to help if needed.
