🌛Children’s Night Support Workers wanted🌛

Are you passionate about supporting others to fulfil their everyday needs?

Are you a night owl and looking to do full or part-time on night shifts?

Our children’s services Orchard Court & Brambles are looking for dedicated and committed night support workers to support the children during the night.

These shifts are waking nights, so you would be expected to support throughout the night, ensuring the children are safe and well.

Duties would include supporting with personal care, ensuring the children are comfortable, fulfilling duties throughout the home such as cleaning and organising for the day staff to take over.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a strong ability to work on their own initiative, has a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting the wellbeing of children with complex disabilities.

Experience is not essential however it is beneficial to have worked in a care setting before, full support and training will be given to the chosen candidates.

**The End of an Era at CSS** 🩵

Yesterday, we celebrated the retirement of two incredible people Dawn and Danny who have poured their hearts, souls, and countless hours into making CSS what it is today. Their hard work, vision, and unwavering dedication have shaped not just a business, but a family, creating a service that has touched so many lives over the years.

From the very start, they built CSS with passion and determination, achieving the incredible milestone of becoming the first outstanding care company in Calderdale. Together, they’ve been the driving force behind everything CSS stands for—leading, supporting, and making a difference in ways too great to measure.

Their presence has been the heart of CSS, and while their retirement is well deserved, there’s no doubt that they will be deeply missed by staff, service users, and everyone who has been lucky enough to be part of this journey with them. Their legacy will live on, but their daily presence, guidance, and support will leave a space that simply can’t be filled.

Dawn and Danny, thank you for everything. Wishing you all the happiness and relaxation that retirement brings—you’ve earned every moment of it! 🩵
