Did you know that disinfection wipes used in clinical medical / dental environments are exempt from the upcoming UK wet wipe ban?

The UK government recently confirmed legislation banning the use of plastic in single use wet wipes from Spring 2027.

There is a critical exemption to this ban: disinfection wipes that are used in medical / dental environments by trained professionals are not included.

The wipes Topdental manufacture in our own Bossklein brand and for our range of other brand partners across the UK remain unaffected.

Our first visit to the annual Infection Prevention Conference - IP 2025. This year held at Brighton Centre in Sussex, 29th-30th September.

Infection Prevention 2025 is a high-class educational event which is the largest in the UK and provides access to infection control experts from around the world.
