Michael John Osbourne (Ozzy), passed away peacefully in his hometown of Birmingham with his family by his side yesterday, aged 76 years.
Rest in peace, Ozzy - Prince of Darkness, true Heavy Metal Legend, who sold over 100 million albums, and was rocking until the end! 🎶 🎸
Our thoughts are with Sharon & the family 🖤

Amanda was out & about last weekend, and had a long chat in the ‘Big 6’ with the rugby union legend and sports presenter that is BRIAN MOORE - a famous ho**er who played for England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and the British & Irish Lions 🦁
He now lives down South, but was in his hometown of Halifax for a good friend’s funeral 🤍
Brian was talking to Amanda about a book that he is writing about retirement, and also the subject of Direct Cremations.
He firmly believes that a life should be Celebrated, which is why he was in Halifax to say a final goodbye to his old chum 🤍

On a rainy Tuesday this week, Amanda & Nick visited Rose Hill Cemetery at Birky, Huddersfield 🍃
This is a family run Cemetery, and it is the closest private Natural Burial Ground to Halifax.

Amanda & her new Trainee Funeral Director, Nick, attended an Open Evening at one of the UK’s largest Coffin Manufacturers, Hallidays, near Liverpool last week.
They were very impressed by the dedication of the staff & the craftsmanship across the shop floor, where coffins are produced using only solar energy, and in various creative designs.
They even won a raffle prize, with the money raised going to Prostate Cancer UK, the President of The Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Director’s Charity of the Year.

Our Funeral Services Assistant, Coleen, took part in the Overgate Hospice Colour Run 🌈 on Saturday - with her two sons, Jorge & Lenny.
The 5k run around Savile Park Moor culminated in a ‘Colour Party’ with all of the runners being doused in Coloured Powder, at various intervals before the Finish Line!
The Colour Run raises vital funds for the Hospice, and over 1,600 enthusiastic runners participated in the Summer sunshine this year☀️ 🌈
