Today is STI day and a great time to remind people that the most common infection Chlamydia, and even HIV don't usually have symptoms so testing is the best and only way to know if you have them! Tests are easy to do and freely available through s*xual health services and the wonderful Brunswick Centre in Calderdale and Kirklees.

Karma Nirvana was established in 1993 as the first UK charity providing support to victims & survivors of honour-based abuse (HBA).

It is now the longest-established charity specialising in providing support for people impacted by HBA.

HBA is not widely recognised as a form of domestic abuse and is often misunderstood or dismissed in the name of ‘culture’ or ‘tradition’ – therefore it remains unhidden, and victims remain without support.
