I was chatting with someone this week about stress. We chatted about how it can cloud cognition...I remember this happening to me once.

I had an intensely stressful period and could not recall numbers I would usually be able to remember instantly.

So, bear in mind, if you're having trouble remembering some things which are usually easy for you, stress may be having more of an impact than you might think...and prolonged stress is not good for you/us 😘

We have a new client who recently had a one to one assessment and then started our Plus Pilates classes a couple of week...

We have a new client who recently had a one to one assessment and then started our Plus Pilates classes a couple of weeks ago. In that time, she has attended a couple of sessions which incorporated pilates props to challenge balance. Whilst in some ways she embraced her wobbling, there was a part of her that was frustrated at how tricky it was. So what did she do? Firstly, she bought a foam roller and this week...a wobblecushion!!

It is so incredibly satisfying to work with clients who have such a motivated mindset, take up our advice, have a desire to improve and by addressing their challenges head on (no pun intended!). Fantastic!
