Several WomenCentre staff are putting on their brave shoes and have volunteered to do an abseil down Wainhouse Tower in Halifax on Saturday 4th October. All to raise funds for WomenCentre of course!

Today we have a new drop in starting at our Calderdale WomenCentre. Recovery Steps will be running a drug and alcohol support drop in between 10am and 11:30am.

The drop in will run on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Who's it for?
-Anyone accessing the WomenCentre who wants to learn more about the service of just learn more about drugs / alcohol in general.
-The drop in can be used by clients to access support directly, or those seeking advice around a loved one's drug / alcohol use, or just to have a broad discussion about the impact of drugs and alcohol.

No need to book - just turn up.

Just a reminder about our 'SOUND WOMEN' event on Saturday 19th July, 7pm at Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.

It’ll be a great evening of music, song and a celebration of WomenCentre. All performers are women, but men are very welcome to attend. There will be plenty of homegrown music from Kirklees WomenCentre plus some amazing guest artists.
