We had such a wonderful time at , whether ladies being so engaged and we had some touching emotional moments.

We brought everything back to the idea of putting ourselves first and advocating for our health by taking charge of it. We showed this through the ideas of flowers blooming when they are well looked after, so the ladies made their own flower displays to represent this and take home

There's no in the pipeline with New Ground, both with engaging with their grounds and staff becoming Cancer Champions 🏆

Watch this space because we can't wait to be back!

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🚐 Ahead of the breast cancer screening van coming to Central Halifax this month, I was really pleased to join women in our community, Calderdale Cancer Aware and Pennine GP alliance to talk about the importance of screening.

As part of Halifax's Light up for Life Diwali celebrations, this was a great opportunity to ask questions, bust some myths about screening and make local people feel more comfortable about the process.

🩺 Catching cancer early is really important for improving outcomes, which is why efforts to improve screening rates locally are so vital. If you have queries, the NHS website or the Pennine GP Alliance's youtube videos (https://www.youtube.com/) may be able to help answer them.
