WE ARE OPEN

As of Thursday there will be another national lockdown, however we will remain open as Podiatry services are exempt from closing due to classification as a medical service.

We will be following strict hygiene and cross infection protocol as always and checking for symptoms by contacting you the day before the appointment and on arrival at the clinic.

We hope to see you soon

Following advice from our regulatory body (HCPC) and our professional body, the College of Podiatry, we have been advised that we may now start to treat all patients who fall into the green category of “mild conditions”. However, this does not mean that we are returning to ‘normal’.

If you had an appointment cancelled due to the lockdown, you will be contacted to offer you an appointment. Priority will be given to the red (acute/limb threatening conditions) or amber (debilitation or life affecting conditions) otherwise please contact me to arrange an appointment.

Also, we have had to implement new protocols within the building, please do not visit if you have cold symptoms, fever, cough etc. Please attend the appointment on your own to reduce the number of people in the building. We would ask you not to bring shopping bags into the building but if you do, you will you be asked to leave them in the waiting area to reduce the increased risk of contaminating the clinical room.

Please arrive at your allocated time to avoid crossover of patients. Please use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival and please bring a face mask or scarf to cover your nose and mouth during your time in the building.

To minimise the risk to you, thorough cleaning will take place after every patient, including any surfaces patients may touch, we will be wearing full PPE at all times. The toilet is available to use if necessary, but we cannot guarantee that it can be cleaned after every use.

We are rebooking appointments, but we need to be flexible in case we become symptomatic.

If you have a problem before you hear from us then please phone on 0113 2454323 or 07787905680 or email on ruth@cityparkpodiatry.co.uk

I look forward to seeing you soon

Due to the current situation, It is with a heavy heart that I will be temporarily closing with immediate effect.

I have not taken this decision lightly but have a duty of care to protect you and me from this virus.

I feel it would be irresponsible for me to continue treating at the moment due to the rapidly expanding reach of the COVID 19 virus.

I have diverted my phone and will still be able to answer any queries.

Please stay safe, follow official advice, wash your hands, distance yourself from others and we will come out the other side.

It has just been brought to my notice that the Lawrence clinic in Leeds have been using Toe Joint as part of their Twitter name, please note that it has nothing to do with the Toe Joint on Park Place in Leeds. I have NOT become part of their business.
