So, it's it's the New year and this is, traditionally, a time where we make big promises to ourselves, which come with a HUGE desire to make changes. But it's really hard to keep that momentum going as the days and weeks progress. Life can feel stressful and we get tired, frustrated and this can mean that we end up eating the things we promised ourselves we wouldn't because it feels bad in the body.
So
What if, instead, you could do ONE thing that you KNOW (from experience) helps you to feel better?
For me; it's to start juicing again...apple, carrot and ginger juice. I love it. My hubby likes it and it ALWAYS leaves me feeling more energised in my day.
What if, for you, it's meditating for 10 minutes before you start the day? Or getting to the gym each week? Doing a regular yoga class? perhaps is just making yourself aware of how you FEEL, and then learning to breathe/pause before you act upon those feelings.
Taking care of ourselves takes many different forms.
For instance, over the last 2 months I've been consistently doing a morning practice (energy clearing, setting intention and getting into the feelings of gratitude for what my life blesses me with). I feel brighter, more Light filled and more relaxed as a result. And more good things have been showing up in my life.
When I forget to do it, I can more easily get dragged down by other people's energy. I am less aware of my own needs and so can settle back into old behaviours (food related).
So what ONE thing could you commit to reintroducing into your life?
