Morning all!

I’m all set up in my wee office to work at home today. Many of you will know that I have a part time job working for a company called EQUIP Ltd who provide training and education anyone who works in Primary Care.

I have a varied week of reflexology coming up and will back at Harlow Hospital on Thursday providing treatment in the chemo suite. I used to do this once a month over a two year period, but now I cover when someone is on holiday. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this week. I also have a couple of treatment swaps in the diary this week which is always lovely.

Morning!

Tuesdays are always the start of my reflexology week and I’m just getting ready to go out to my first client.

At the weekend I was doing some taster treatments at a community fun day in Colchester to raise funds for St Helena Hospice. The weather was perfect and there was a great turnout. We had lots of lovely people come and see us for a treatment.

Good morning!

I’m ready and set up for today’s treatments at St Helena Hospice in Colchester where I’m a volunteer Complimentary Therapist.

I love what I do here and have learned so much over the years. There are a few of us who provide treatments in our lovely relaxing treatment room and also to those in the IPU. It’s a real privilege to be able to do it. X

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine. It’s so lovely to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy it.

This week will be a lot quieter for me. As many of you know I was in Little Shop of Horrors last weekend at The Quay theatre in Sudbury which was performed by Sudbury Musical Society. What a fabulous week it was!

My role in this show was very different to anything I’ve ever done….i was the puppeteer for the Audrey II plants and I loved it! It was great to be part of the show with such a talented cast!

I’m looking forward to seeing all my lovely clients this week ❤️

Wow….how on earth is it May?!?

It’s so nice to wake up to some lovely weather and have a coffee in the sunshine before heading off to work shortly. 🤗

Today it’s about feet and reflexology! Here are some things you might not have known about our feet and reflexology!

Are you living with Lymphoedema, or do you know someone who is?

Lymphoedema is a long-term (chronic) condition that causes swelling in the body's tissues. It can affect any part of the body, but usually develops in the arms or legs and develops when the lymphatic system doesn’t work properly. The lymphatic system is a network of channels and glands throughout the body that helps fight infection and remove excess fluid.

I am fully trained in Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD) which is based on some of the principals of manual lymphatic drainage.

On New Year’s Eve I found out i’d won first prize in a competition I entered on Instagram. 🤗

The prize which was a luxury facial, a lash lift and tint and a make up session with the lovely Maggie at Lipstick and Locks in Braintree. I couldn’t believe I’d won!!

At the end of January I went for the facial which was amazing! On Tuesday I went for my lash lift and tint….they look amazing!! Check out the results in the photo!

Good morning 🙂

Some of you may know that I like to get involved in a wee bit of amateur dramatics and musical theatre.

I’m a member of Sudbury Dramatic Society and will be in a play called The Hotel Room which will run at The Quay Theatre in Sudbury from the 4th - 8th March 2025.

Before Christmas I entered a competition here on Instagram. My friend tagged me in it and I thought…why not!

Anyway, I admit I forgot all about it and then on NYE I was tagged by maggie_lipstickandlocks in a video saying that I had won first prize!!! I honestly couldn’t believe it as I never win anything!

So I got in touch with Maggie and booked one of the treatments I’d won which was a luxury facial. I went to the salon on Saturday and was made so welcome by Maggie and the treatment was amazing! My skin feels great!
