🌿 Upper Body Unwind
So much of our daily tension gathers in the neck, shoulders, and upper back — whether from hours at a desk, emotional stress, or simply holding ourselves upright against gravity. Over time, this can leave us feeling tight, heavy, and disconnected from ease.
Upper Body Unwind is a gentle yet powerful class that helps to release that build-up. We’ll move through sequences that:
✨ Decrease strain through the neck and shoulders
✨ Gently open the chest wall to support deeper, fuller breathing
✨ Lengthen and soften the sides of the neck
✨ Create space through the sides of the body to improve posture and free the breath
When we open the side body, we allow the rib cage to expand more freely, giving the diaphragm space to move and the breath to deepen. A slower, fuller breath helps calm the nervous system, easing stress and restoring a sense of inner balance.
As the upper body softens and opens, the mind follows — the shoulders drop, the breath slows, and you reconnect with a sense of lightness and calm.
This class is perfect for anyone who spends long hours at a computer, carries stress in their shoulders, or simply needs an evening to let go and recharge.
