Such a privilege to support this wonderful family.
On this occasion I was mums sole support on the day- alongside the fantastic midwives of course.
A beautiful physiological water birth with just the aura orbs and gas and air for pain relief - amazing.

The strength and resilience of the women I support will never cease to amaze me.

Busy busy bee!

It has been such a busy week!
Two overnight support sessions, two postnatal day support sessions, a post birth visit and a second antenatal session for expectant parents due in March not forgetting trying to keep my teenagers focused on revision over half term for their looming GCSE’s and A-level exams - chocolate helps- please send mini eggs 😂

Tiny toes 🤍

These gorgeous toes belong to a beautiful baby boy who finally arrived last week at 41 weeks +5
This remarkable mummy with the unwavering support of her husband fully trusted her body and instinct and patiently waited for her baby to be ready.

Baby was born in the pool in the midwife led unit at Colchester hospital with the support of two wonderful midwives.

Such a pleasure to support this mummy and witness her strength, determination and resilience and the joys of a physiological birth.

Our first Cambridge hub of the year is TOMORROW at

Come along for a hot beverage and meet other new and expectant parents. Our experienced birth and postnatal doulas will be available for support, signposting and answer any questions you might have on all things birth and baby.

And one of our Collective, Justine, will run a short session on getting breastfeeding off to the best start.. see you there!
