This is the first 'iced honey coffee' the residents have tried. They each whisked honey and then added the coffee and milk and poured it over ice. And they certainly enjoyed trying it after!

We spent a lovely afternoon polishing copper while sharing a cup of tea and reminiscing about the household chores we liked (and disliked!). Many remembered how silverware and copper needed weekly polishing, and the familiar smell of Brasso sparked memories of other old household cleaners. A wonderful trip down memory lane.

🐢 We had a very special visitor on Wednesday– Tilly the Asian tortoise, who’s over 10 years old! Residents loved watching her explore the garden, with some giving her shell a gentle stroke and others enjoying a cuddle.

Last weekend, some of our residents supported Halstead fete in the public gardens 🏡

They watched Hells Bells' performance, fed ducks, had pictures taken with entertainers, did some shopping at the stalls, and watched children laughing at the punch and Judy show!

Last week, some of the Cedars residents took a trip over to Braintree Garden Centre. They enjoyed tea and cake first and then we had lunch a little later. We looked at the plants and household decor, and they thoroughly the day. 🌱🌿🌺
