We held our bake sale on the weekend and raised over £70 for the residents’ activity fund. 🎉

Residents took turns helping to run the stall, making it a real team effort and a lovely community event.

A huge thank you to one of our families, Lorraine, for kindly baking sweet treats, and to our staff members Ruth and Michael for their contributions too.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along and supported us — it truly means so much.

We put a lovely twist on National Walking Day. 🌸
Four of our residents enjoyed a walk through the garden and into the community, each carrying a drawing of a vase. Along the way, they spotted beautiful flowers and added them to their pictures, bringing their “vases” to life with nature.

Don't they look beautiful!

What a wonderful day it’s been. 🐣

From Easter egg deliveries to plenty of laughter, the celebrations were in full swing. A big thank you to Charlotte for being this year’s Easter Bunny and spreading so much joy.

Residents enjoyed Easter word games and jokes before receiving their eggs, followed by a lovely sensory activity. Together, they created Easter sensory baskets, exploring different textures and colours — a particularly meaningful experience for those living with dementia.

The day was then rounded off perfectly with a traditional roast lamb dinner, enjoyed together by all.

It’s been a very chocolate-filled couple of days here. 🍫🐣

Residents have enjoyed trying their hand at making their own Easter eggs, creating mini Easter egg bark, and even combining it all with a touch of art therapy along the way.

A fun, creative, and delicious way to celebrate the Easter season together.
