New Moon is at 21 degrees and 7 minutes of Libra, and although it will only be visible in some parts of the world, this energy is being enhanced by a potent Solar Eclipse. Celestial energy is flowing with incredible support for us to transform ourselves and our lives. This eclipse is reflecting and refining the energy of the New Moon and allowing us an insight to our inner self that can allow for self-healing and healthier connections. By viewing our needs through the gift offered to us by Air sign Libra, a lens of perspective and thoughtful, compassionate distance, we are being blessed with a unique opportunity to see our inner selves for who we are. This is a chance to reach in without judging and offer ourselves the supportive hand that gives us the confidence to step out into who we could become.
Imagine yourself as a tightrope walker. The risk of falling is always there, no matter how well practised you may be at toeing the line or how hard you have worked on your confidence. To move ahead, we all need to feel secure that if we fall, we will be caught. Strong partnerships and connections in life are what give us our support net. It is much easier to walk forwards with our heads held high when we know that if we stumble there will be strong hands ready to help us back up again. This New Moon in Libra is allowing you to see where you are strong and where you need a little more support.
Seeking perfection in romantic love or any relationship is not healthy. But neither is continually accepting an imbalance that is stifling our ability to grow. Relationships challenge us to develop ourselves. What we stand to learn through our connections with others is not about them. It is to gain the ability to balance putting others first whilst maintaining enough of our self-love to draw boundaries where necessary. Relationships, like all of life, are never static. They are rarely ever at a point of exact 50/50. Balance is about give and take – sometimes we give at 90 because our teammate is at 10 percent. It is not transactional to expect to be supported when we are low too. This powerful Libra energy sees all sides at once. There can be no real winner when others lose. When we act from a place of integrity we can find a way to charm the world around us through honest interactions. When we strike the balance between our own needs and the requirements of others we can empower ourselves to create mutually beneficial partnerships. It is only by being clear about what it is we need, especially in partnerships, that we can give the opportunity for those needs to be met. Libra’s rational outlook harmonises this chorus. By looking inwards and taking action towards resolution of any points of conflict, speaking from the heart without prejudice or persecution, there is hope for reaching a place of peace and understanding.

We are now past the equinox and heading towards the winter solstice. Middle points are often difficult to manage.
