Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Wetwheels Hamble to the Marina for a few days.

They welcomed over 100 guests from the The Dorset Children's Foundation, Dorset Abilities Group and families from the local area onboard.

Wetwheels Hamble offer fully accessible, barrier-free power-boating experiences for disabled people across the South Coast

Their goal is to offer disabled individuals not just as passengers but as active skippers. All boats are specially adapted, with controls and ramps designed for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.

Wetwheels Hamble has sailed into Cowes Sailability Club Pirate Adventure today… and we’ve gone and kidnapped a very special stowaway… 🐻☠️ That’s right, Pudsey Bear!

Plenty of pirate fun, big smiles, and adventures on the water – thank you Cowes Sailability Club for having us, what a day! ⚓️💛

🌊✨ What an unforgettable few days at Poole Quay Boat Haven & Port of Poole Marina!

We were thrilled to welcome over 100 guests from The Dorset Children's Foundation, Dorset Abilities Group and families from the local area onboard with Wetwheels Hamble. 🚤💙

The smiles said it all – children, families, and adults of all abilities got the chance to experience the excitement of being out on the water, many for the very first time. 🌞⚓️

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible – from our amazing volunteer crew to the teams at DCF and Dorset Abilities for bringing so much joy and energy.

Together, we’re breaking down barriers and creating memories that will last a lifetime. 💫
