Yesterday (30.12.2024) marked the second Wellbeing drop-in at Hedge End Library - Hampshire County Council for our Social Prescriber and Health and Wellbeing Coaches.

This Wellbeing-drop in supports patients of Hamble Valley Health (formerly known as Hedge End Medical Centre and Blackthorn Health Centre). Drop-ins are on the last Monday of every month 2pm-4pm.

Starting this month, on the last Monday of every month our Social Prescriber and Health and Wellbeing Coaches will be hosting a Wellbeing Drop In at Hedge End Library 2pm-4pm

Starting this month at Hedge End Library, why not pop in for a supportive chat and a cup of tea with the Hedge End Surgery Wellbeing Team?

• Help with social isolation and connecting with your community
• Signposting to local services
• Managing health with long term conditions
• Developing life skills
• Weight loss and support with keeping active

The free NHS Healthier Together app and/or website https://www.what0-18.nhs.uk/ provides you with information about what you can do at home, who is best to talk to, when to worry etc for a wide range of symptoms that your child may be experiencing. This can help to give you peace of mind that you know when to escalate and where is the best place to go to should the symptoms require medical attention.
