We design a program around the things you like to do and with in the time constraints of your world. We teach you the realities of train

ing, over training and under training. We give you a tool box of ideas to take you to success, options if your day changes, to still make good use of your time. You will never get a different result by doing the same thing, so It may just be a repetitive niggle in the calf, which could come from bad biomechanics/posture/movement, poor shoes, not enough fluids, lack of stretching, interrupted sleep .... etc. Or it could be that you don't know how hard to exercise and keep getting really tired, you are not getting fitter, not loosing weight ... you don't know quite what to do etc. We will pass on our expertise to teach you so you can manage your life the way you want to yourself.

What fun it’s been training these girls- great adventure ahead

It’s been amazing having the ladies from The Maiden Factor using Hamble Sports Complex for their land based training alongside trainer Emma Westmacott from , preparing for the Ocean Globe Race.

The iconic yacht ‘Maiden’ arrived in Hamble in mid July to prepare for the start of this historic race starting on the 10th September.
Three decades ago this yacht, skippered by Tracy Edwards and an all-female crew finished second overall in her class in the 1989/90 Whitbread around the world race. In a few weeks she will be taking up the challenge again with the most diverse professional sailing crew to ever race around the world.
Maidens mission has been to raise funds for girls education and stem programs in countries all over the world, under the mantra “Educate a Girl, Change the World.”

Hydrate hydrate hydrate – they say 3L a day and that’s without exercise and in a moderate climate – so in this temperature we are probably looking more like 4L or 5 a day! That’s a lot of drinking - but this is how you keep your cool cool – that’s just how you keep your joints lubricated and your muscles are elastic and your organs working properly – it’s how your eyes are able to focus and your blood is able to flow and take nutrients around your body and remove toxins.
This is how your heart is able to pump.
Keep hydrating!

Regular work outs with the Swiss ball allow the bodies proprioception to be tapped into – the ball is incredibly unstable and so to perform a press up action one has to recruit shoulder stabiliser muscles as well as a good amount of core

Weekly ball work outs online and 1-2-1 sessions using various bits of equipment to challenge.

Going strong - - continuing with our zoom sessions – awesome use of time and great workouts. “I felt last weekends session all the way thru till Wednesday!!”
So there is no slopping off, can’t say u don’t get a proper workout!!

Found a new challenge - squats and lunges on the trampoline! Keeping perfect posture – fabulous way to exercise for all sports sailing horse riding cycling running!

Maxi Yacht sailing - 100 footer - this video shows the size of the sails and crew! Shows the need for team work, fitness and strength. Communication and CO-ordination so that everyone works together in time and on time in order that the manoeuvres work smoothly - imagine doing this in a seaway and a lot more wind. One thing out of time and this does nothing run as smooth!!
