💞Calling women up to 12 months after a Cesarean birth 💕

Researchers at are inviting women who have had a Cesarean birth within the past year to complete a short questionnaire focused on C-section scar healing and lived experience.
They are seeking to better understand:

🏵️ What women are doing (or not doing) to support scar healing

🏵️ How women feel about their birth and their scar

🏵️ What support is missing or could be done better in post-Cesarean scar care

The more experiences that are shared, the clearer the picture becomes. This research has the potential to directly inform better education, better care, and better outcomes for women after Cesarean birth.

If you are eligible, your voice truly matters.
Please consider taking part and sharing this with others who may be within one year post-Cesarean.

🎄 Christmas Clinic Update 🎄

Today is my final day in clinic, with the doors now closing until 5th January 2026.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy a joyful, restful festive period with those who matter most.

Thank you sincerely to every client, colleague, and referrer for your trust and support over the past year. It truly means more than I can say, and I feel very grateful to do the work I do.

And of course… I expect you’ll all be keeping up with your pelvic floor exercises over the holidays 😉!

Long coach journeys give me space to reflect…
After 18 years in the NHS, I saw incredible dedication—but also exhaustion, limited time to learn, and endless waiting lists. Five years ago, with the support of my husband, my three boys, my Mum and her husband, I took a leap into private practice. I started by renting a single room… and now I own my own clinic. It’s small, but it’s mine—and I’m proud of what it stands for.

In this space, I can protect time for research, stay up to date with best practice, and invest in technology that truly improves patient outcomes. In private practice, I’m only as good as my last client—and that drives me to deliver my very best every day.

I’ll always love the NHS, but this chapter gives me the balance and autonomy to offer the level of care I’ve always aimed for.

Early start today as I jump on the National Express from Hamilton to Birmingham, heading back to the NEC for Therapy Expo tomorrow.
I’m really looking forward to catching up with from ’ and Cesarean scar specialist teacher, .

Feeling energised for fresh learning, discovering new innovations in the therapy world, and keeping my skills sharp so I can continue delivering gold-standard care for my clients.

❤️❤️Nearly a year in this clinic, and today marks a milestone I’ve been working towards for a long time — the final room now has its floor laid.❤️❤️

Balancing full-time clinical work, raising three children, and spending every spare moment building this space has been challenging, but deeply rewarding. Seeing it all come together is incredibly uplifting, and I’m grateful for every step of the journey.

2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with even more opportunities to support women’s pelvic health and expand the services we can offer. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this process — the best is yet to come.
