It is a wonderful space for healing, and the stillness is conducive to clearing the mind, which can be a vast woodland of its own. Sometimes there are obstacles ‘hidden’ deep in the forest of our subconscious. These can be unresolved issues from the past, physical or psychological trauma, pain, stress, depression or anxiety. We are too busy with what is going on in the mind just to get through the day instead of paying attention to the inner self. This creates an imbalance or blocking of energies that can manifest in our relationships, wreak havoc on our bodies and affect our self-confidence.
