Our top tips for the holidays? ๐
๐ 1. Keep moving (little & often)
Long periods of sitting increase stiffness and aches. Aim for short walks or gentle movement breaks throughout the day, even 5โ10 minutes helps joint health and circulation.
๐ 2. Back pain after lifting is commonโฆ but often settles!
Lifting presents, bags or boxes can trigger back pain. So can sitting in the same position too long! However, most episodes improve with sensible activity, movement and avoiding bed rest. If pain persists or worsens, our physio team is here to help.
๐ฅ 3. Balance indulgence with recovery!
Late nights, alcohol and rich food can impact sleep and recovery. Stay hydrated, prioritise sleep where possible and add light stretching or mobility to help your body bounce back.
