Meet Deborah Joyce of Djphysiotherapy
Since graduating BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2006, I have a vast clinical background from private paediatrics to 17 years in the NHS, in A&E, soft tissue injury clinic, MSK, orthopaedics, neurology, community care, and more.
I have been passionate in every role I have taken and the transitional skills have made me the physio I am today.
I have extensive experience working with many football teams, rugby, ice hockey and SFA referees.
Additionally alongside NHS & sport, I have 16 years experience managing patients following orthopaedic surgery at Ross Hall Hospital where I have built trusted working relationships with orthopaedic surgeons.
Specialising in Hip and Knee Replacements, ACL reconstructions, and all things shoulder and ankle-related, Iβm currently on the brink of completing my MACP MSc in Advanced physiotherapy.
Since launching Djphysiotherapy in 2022, Iβve been committed to providing a high standard of quality care. My approach is rooted in the latest research, ensuring you receive the best assessments, education about your condition, and treatment plans.
With 9 years community clinical experience; frailty; falls and complex care management; providing rehabilitation to prevent need for hospital admission, I have expertise in home visit assessments.
My care & compassion is unmeasured, and you will feel at ease as we identify your needs, either when you see me in clinic or I attend for home visit.
Kind regards,
Deborah
