Happy New Year 🌿✨As we step into 2026, it feels like a moment to pause - to reflect on how you want to feel, how you want to live and what really matters in the year ahead.

This September, I’ll be teaching on a week-long retreat in Pau, held in a farmhouse surrounded by vineyards, with open views of the Pyrenees - a place that naturally invites space, clarity and reconnection. 🧘

The retreat weaves together seasonal yoga and Qigong, offered as an invitation rather than a schedule - space to move at your own rhythm, choose what feels right, and enjoy each moment as it unfolds. I’ll also be offering an art session, creating room for creativity and emotional release. 🎨

Midlife has a way of showing up in the body first.
Stiffness. Holding. A nervous system that feels a little too full.

This free Autumn Yoga mini-series is part of my Midlife Mobility Blueprint - a seasonal approach designed to support mobility, breath and nervous system regulation through the changing seasons of life.

These three short practices focus on autumn energy:
breath-led movement, release through the lungs and large intestine, and gently letting go of what the body no longer needs to carry.

Even though we’ve crossed into winter, this work is a powerful place to begin - especially if you’re in midlife and noticing that your body needs a different kind of care now.

In Seasonal Yoga, autumn is the season of releasing and letting go — and your spine is your backbone to freedom.

When your spine is flexible, your energy and bodily system work and flow more easily. When it’s stiff, life feels heavy.

Just 5 minutes of mindful movement a day - undulating, twisting, breathing - can reawaken and refine your energy, listening to your joints so we don’t rust!

A supple spine doesn’t just keep your body young…it keeps your spirit alive. 🍂

Move like a falling leaf - light, free, and dancing in the wind. ✨

Not every new week needs big plans or shiny beginnings. Sometimes, especially in midlife, just showing up is enough.

We carry a lot — thoughts, worries, hopes — but the seasons remind us that growth isn’t always visible.
Sometimes we rest. Sometimes we let go.
Sometimes we rise again, slower but stronger.

Take a breath.
Sip your coffee or tea 😊.
Let this Sunday soften you.
You’re doing beautifully — even if all you do today is be. 🌾

Autumn isn’t about losing — it’s about making space to breathe again.

THE HUMAN DOG STRETCH — AUTUMN EDITION 🍁

Most of us wake up stiff and tense — not just in the body but in the mind.

This simple FLOW from Down Dog → Plank → Up Dog opens the lungs, strengthens the core, and helps you release tension from head to toe.

It’s your Morning Autumn Reset — a gentle way to clear the chest, open the heart, and awaken the throat chakra so your breath and energy can move freely.

Do 10 slow, mindful reps each morning.
Inhale clarity. Exhale the clutter.

✅ Strengthens wrists, shoulders, and core
✅ Opens lungs and heart — autumn’s ruling organs
✅ Improves circulation and posture
✅ Releases stiffness and emotional holding

When you realise that all that leaning forward - over your phone, your desk, your endless to-do list - has slowly been closing you in. Midlife has a way of piling things on the shoulders, and before we know it, the body starts whispering, “Enough.”

Letting your head hang gently off the edge of the bed can soften the neck and open the throat — releasing tension where words, worries and unspoken truths often live.

During the season of letting go, we’re invited to relax the throat, release the holding and allow our voice - and our truth - to move more freely.

Gravity becomes your healer.
The breath becomes your medicine.
And letting go becomes the practice. 🌿
