🚨New Triage System 🚨

We are introducing Rapid Health! A new online system designed to make it quicker and easier for patients to access the right care at the right time.

From Monday 20th April 2026, Rapid Health will replace Accurx and become the main way to contact the surgery.

What is Rapid Health?
Rapid Health is an online triage and appointment system that allows you to request medical advice or book appointments without needing to phone the practice. When you submit a request, you will be asked a series of simple questions about your problem.

Based on your answers, Rapid Health will:
✅Offer appointments in the most appropriate timeframe based on GP assessment of clinical need.

⚠️Highlight urgent symptoms and, where necessary, guide you to urgent or emergency care.

This approach helps us get it right first time, reduces waiting times for urgent problems, and improves patient safety.

🌟 Flu & COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics Now Open! 🌟

Protect yourself and your loved ones this season by getting your flu and COVID-19 jabs!

Who should have the flu vaccine?
The flu vaccine is recommended for people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu. It’s offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter.

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

-Are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)
-Have certain long-term health conditions
-Are pregnant
-Live in a care home

COVID-19 winter vaccine eligibility:
You can get the winter COVID-19 vaccine if you:

-Are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2026)
-Are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
-Live in a care home for older adults

We’re improving the Emergency Department at West Middlesex Hospital to provide a better and more comfortable environment for patients.

• The Emergency Department entrance and waiting rooms will be temporarily closed for 4 weeks.
• A new temporary entrance and waiting area will be clearly signposted.
• Staff will be on hand to help direct and support you.

Adults aged 18+ who have a very weak immune system are now eligible for the shingles vaccine.

You don’t need to wait for an invitation — you can book at your GP practice.

Calling all carers - come to our next Learning Lunch on Friday 29th August, 1-3pm!

We will be joined by Henry Cheung, a Community Mental Health Pharmacist, who will talk to us about the common Mental Health medications.

This will be an invaluable opportunity to ask any questions you might have about prescribed medication on behalf of the person you are caring for.

The lunch is open to registered carers who support those with mental health problems over the age of 18.
