Acupuncture vs Cupping: When Do You Actually Feel the Results?

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’ll walk out of your session feeling brand new or if the magic happens later, this one’s for you.

Acupuncture works from the inside out. It’s subtle, powerful, and often builds over time. You might feel immediate relief with stress or tension, but deeper issues like chronic pain or hormonal imbalances usually shift over 24 to 72 hours.

Cupping works from the outside in. You’ll often feel looser and more mobile straight after, especially in tight or inflamed areas. Some soreness the next day is totally normal it means your body is processing and healing.

Both are powerful. Both are valid and we often find a collaboration of both is perfect for the most effective treatments. The key is knowing what your body needs and when.

Our Introduction sessions aren’t just a box to tick. They’re how we regulate our classes, ensure every client understands the fundamentals and protect your body from injury.

Why did my muscle grab the needle?

That sudden twitch you felt during dry needling? It’s called a local twitch response and it’s actually a good sign. It means we’ve hit a trigger point, a tight band of muscle that’s been holding tension, often silently causing pain or restriction.

Pilates is breath-led, deeply grounding and focused on core strength, alignment and control. It primarily develops type 1 muscle fibres, supporting endurance, stability and nervous system regulation.
