It was really Spring-like this weekend, proper warm and dry! We did some tree maintenance in the garden and the wood and I was called to share about one of the services I offer - Get Your Glow On!

PAGE UPDATE

Lots of thinking has been happening here at YSJ HQ on how to take things forward, and I really have appreciated everyone's input, thank you.

For now, this page and the group will be staying the same, with the same type of content as before - all things energy, ancestors, and spirit-related.

I set up a new profile for just right now while I decide on whether it needs a page or not and you're welcome to friend me, in fact, I'd love it if you did, and share what I put out there.

Very occasionally there will be a crossover of content, but otherwise, this page and group will remain as before.

While I work out all the behind-the-scenes tech for my Deep Structure Coaching Service, called 'Lighten the Load', I want to make sure that I'm starting off with what you actually need to help you lighten the load.

My focus will be on providing services that help in reducing the heaviness of life and providing a safe space for people who are experiencing acute/chronic anxiety and/or overwhelm and/or thoughts of Suic.ide and who have no idea how to go on living but would like help to continue with life.

So, if you have ever felt the need for the world to stop, so you can get off and take a breath, or if you have contemplated leaving the world for good, please help me to support you in providing the right support from the start.

Afternoon lovely people on my page!

I need your help please.

Over the last few months the direction that my work has been going in is different to how this page was first set up.

So my question to you is, do I set up a new page for the new direction and change this one back to being focussed on Spirit Guide Connection, which I absolutely love teaching, or do I change this current page to focus on the work that I am becoming more involved in?

The new page will be focussing on how overwhelming life can be, and that sometimes, it's all too much and so sui-cide seems to be the best and only option. We work together to help find a way through these dark days.
There will be info on setting your life up for End of Life following a Terminal Diagnosis and we'll be covering things like planning your own funeral, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney etc.

One of the things that I'm very aware of is that people don't like to talk about death, dying and the afterlife so that's why I'm finding this a challenge. They are all a natural part of life, and the more we talk about them the easier it is to say what we want, rather than people pleasing.

I would really value your thoughts on this, I appreciate it's not an easy ask.

Today, the 1st of February, is the festival of Imbolc, where Pagans celebrate the recovery of the Goddess Brighid, where she is returned to the Maiden after the birth of the Sun God (Yule), and where other religions celebrate the festival of Candlemas.
Imbolc marks the beginning of Spring, and in ancient times there would be a gathering of clans, tribes, and village folk to honour the Goddess Brighid and to ask for healing after the winter months. Brighid is one of the many Goddesses of hearth & home.

The word Imbolc means 'in the belly' and refers to the bulbs and seeds lying in the earth waiting for the right time to sprout.
We see signs of spring emerging everywhere, in my garden the snowdrops are out and the daffodils have their heads up ready to welcome the spring sun and open.

How many of you grow your own food and flowers?

This year as you plant the seeds I encourage you to set intentions so as the seeds grow so do your intentions.

'I plant my seed that it may grow,
my hopes within it, too, I sow.
Dear Goddess see what I pursue
and help me see my dreams come true
If I deserve it, through work and toil -
here symbolised by fertile soil -
the day will come, through my volition,
when I will see my works fruition.

A quick heads up!

You don’t have to be a long-skirt wearing, incense burning, woo woo loving person to be connected to your Spirit Guides, your Ancestors and your Soul.

The only thing you need to be is You and allow yourself to be open to connecting with all that is around you.

Even the most logical minds can change their beliefs around Spirit presence and connection.

When the time is right for them to connect, they get a nudge. Not just any old nudge, a quietly confident, persistent nudge. A nudge that isn't to be ignored.

Lots of my logical minded clients have said that it's much easier to 'obey the nudge' than resist. I have no experience of that really, Spirit connection has been with me forever. But I do remember saying Yes to participating in a Dragon Boat Race, the nudge was too big to resist. I was even given a get out opportunity and I still said Yes, couldn't resist the nudge you see!

What about you though, logically minded or not, have you felt a nudge to do something that took you beyond your beliefs, something that you couldn't resist no matter the internal dialogue?

Spirit have a sense of humour, even in the most serious of occasions!

They will always try to bring laughter into our lives as it has a lighter, brighter frequency, and if your passed loved one was a joker you can be sure that they'll carry that on!

One thing that I do know about Spirit is that they always come with love and our best interests at heart.

I see You. I feel You, I hear You. I know You. You are me.

You have special gifts, you try to hide them. Fear of judgment, punishment and ridicule are high and you need to keep yourself safe.

But...
How do you know what you know when you've never studied 'the thing you know'?
How do you cope with the overwhelm of peoples energies?
How do you work out whether that's your pain or someone elses?
How do you know if someone is safe to share with?

You've found a coping strategy in keeping silent and settling with being labelled an attention seeker and a hypochondriac.

A few things that happened to me as a child:
Referrals to psychiatrists for 'making all the pains up - it's all in your head'. Passing out in school to escape the overwhelm.
Sharing what you know with your best friend, only to be called a freak.

I learned to be quiet, to be invisible and wow is that having an impact as an adult.

But...
I'm now learning to be seen and heard because what You need from me is important, so that you can show up in your life as a whole.

Not hiding any part of You.

I've spent most of my life hiding, please know that when we work together there is no judgement, punishment or ridicule, I've had enough of that for both of us.
I want to help you have the confidence to use your gifts.

I see You. I feel You, I hear You. I know You. You are me.

You have special gifts, there is no need to hide them.
