🚨CALLING ALL FINAL YEAR UoB STUDENTS🚨

Following our first successful year-long programme, we are happy to announce that we are opening applications for our next iteration of the BMTA programme, running from October 2023 until the end of the 2023/24 Academic year!

As an assistant, you'll be buddying-up with an SHO and attend their on-call shifts, where you'll get the chance to be thrown into a trauma call situation (with all the relevant training, of course)!

There are only 8 spaces, so we will be taking applications and interviewing candidates. You are expected to attend a minimum of 2 on-call shifts to your choosing per month from your SHO's rota. This is of course more flexible with the opportunity to attend shifts with a different SHO if your schedule doesn't fit with theirs, or distribute the minimum requirement of 14 shifts differently across the year.
Please note that ONLY final year medical students at University of Birmingham will be considered. Unfortunately we cannot create any exemptions to this due to indemnity.

To apply, please fill out the application form below (applications close 23:59 25/08/2023):
