So someone came into work today who's husband has dementia and he had one of these on his coat. I've never seen or heard about them and she was saying how very few people have n i ssked if i could post this pic on here and she agreed so let's raise some awareness.... if you see someone alone and looking lost and they have one of these on show just scan this with ur mobile and it will bring up the details of family so you can get them back home safely. Such a good thing ❤️❤️

Wow… it’s been a year of Beachside Home Care!🥹 I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started this special service! It has been an absolute rollercoaster, I have loved every minute of it. Meeting new people, learning and growing as a business and as a person. A special someone, My BIGGEST Supporter from Day One always said “she will do well Mia will, it takes a special someone to do what Mia does” I will treasure this forever💞 Thank you to everyone who has supported me since day one, who have shared my posts, handed out flyers, who have shared my Business with the community, who have spread the word, given positive feedback and are still doing so to this day! THANK YOU to you all💞

We’re marking the start of National Safeguarding Week in Wales (11-15 November) by raising awareness of a scheme designed to help Police locate people living with Dementia who go missing across the region.

The Herbert Protocol, first launched in 2011, is an early intervention scheme designed to find people living with the condition more quickly.

It consists of a form that helps families and carers note vital information about a person at risk that can be passed to the Police if that person is reported missing. A recent photograph of the person should also be kept with the form.
