MMRV is now part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme, replacing the MMR vaccine.

It protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.

Chickenpox is very common and can sometimes lead to serious complications, so vaccination helps reduce the risk of serious illness as children grow.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will be in touch when your child is due.

Nuffield House would like to wish all of our patients a very happy and healthy time over this festive period.

We know this time of year can be extremely challenging and stressful for many people. We would like to thank all of our patients for their continued support and patience during these last few months while we made changes.

Our staff are extremely grateful for all patients that have shown consideration and appreciation during these hard times.

Our practice will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December and we will also be closed on the 1st of January 2026.

If in the unfortunate circumstances that you need help during these times please call NHS 111 or 999 in emergency circumstances.
