Ringworm is a common fungal skin infection. Infection can be seen anywhere on the skin including feet, palms, nails, groin, beard area, or scalp. Look out for the following signs and symptoms to detect ringworm infection:

1. Ring-shaped patches with raised scaly borders (Skin)
2. Patches can be itchy
3. Itching, burning and stinging on your soles and between your toes (athlete’s foot)
4. Dry skin and deep cracks on the palm (Hand infection)
5. Nails thicken, discolor, and may start to lift away from bed (Nail infection)
6. Red rash with swelling and itch in the crease where the leg meets the body (Groin)
7. Intense redness or pus-filled bumps or hair loss on the bearded area
8. Scaly bald patches (scalp infection)
