Where a Zero is shown the shooter declined to give in their scorecards.

A slight breeze from the SW.

People have asked about the timings for our Christmas shoot at Eriswell Lodge on November 30th.
Please arrive between 9 to 9:30.
This will give you ample time to have your breakfast and Tea or Coffee.
All the squads are already made up and you are shooting with people you know.
We will group together just before 10am to get the squads together in the clubhouse for a group Photograph.
We start shooting at 10am.

12 Stands ( 10 x 8 and 2 x 10 ) = 100 Targets.
There are over 60 of us shooting so you have 4 hours or thereabouts for each squad as we are sitting down to eat BY 2pm.
If You haven't finished by 1:30 to 1:45. then you need to pack up and get into the Dining Room which is on the first floor.

We are also shooting in the company of a lot of Freemasons.
They are providing all the Raffle Prizes the proceeds of which go to Charity, so dig deep and support them.

The bar will be open when you have finished shooting.

The rain was pouring stair rods just after 7am but soon stopped to give us a rain free morning.
I put on a Moderate shoot this morning and it shows in the scores with Phil Hayden scoring an excellent 59. ( He missed a Rabbit on stand 2 ).
Thank you all for those that stayed around to say goodbye and shake hands with us, very much appreciated.
The lovely Alison Barsby baked a Lemon Drizzle cake for us to share, Thank you Alison.
A sad day as it marks the end of Eastwick Shooting Ground.
It has been a journey for us, but getting up at Silly O'Clock to set up in all weathers throughout the year has now ended.
Clearing the ground and selling our assets is now our target and look forward to seeing it all gone to other grounds.
Thank you all whoever you are for your support throughout the years.

The weather for tomorrow is forecast as Thundery Showers.
17C with a 10 mph breeze from the East. I don't care, I'm going.

As it is our last ever shoot it might get a bit emotional so I'll say it's been a pleasure to do the setups for the last few years.
We have had laughs, Incidents and a few rows but we got the job done.
We at Eastwick SG thank you all for your support.
We shall miss you all and hope to see you at some shooting ground in the future.

DON'T FORGET

SORRY PEOPLE. SHOOT HAS HAD TO BE CANCELLED. NOT WEATHER RELATED. BOB HAS HAD ACCIDENT AND IS NOW AT THE HOSPITAL. HE HAS SPLIT HIS HEAD OPEN !!!

The weather forecast has changed slightly.
Thundery Showers until 10 am. Then dry until 12.
9 mph breeze from the south.
I hope that works out.

The weather looks damp for tomorrow.
Light Rain showers with a 12mph wind from the South East.
High temperature of 18c.

There are still ongoing roadworks in Harlow but no road closures that I could see today.
