Monday 8pm - Mindful Mondays - pay every 4 weeks- class full for February

Thursday 10.30am - Chair Yoga at Kelvedon Hatch - drop-in, pay weekly -a few spaces available

Friday 9.15am - mat yoga - drop-in pay weekly but at capacity, please message first to see if any space available if not been before

Mid-week reminder to give yourself permission to slow down! Life is busy, but its honestly okay to take a moment, to breathe and just be, to let your own wellbeing take priority. These moments of calm reflection are important. You notice small details, connect to your self and to others more deeply. Its therefore crucial, especially if youre taking care of others in life, in work, that you find these moments of peaceful stillness to continue being the best version of you. At Yoga you can just 'be' without pressure, without competition, there is no race to be won. The hustle becomes less of a badge of honour, or proof of success but something you enjoy stepping out of, as peace is the real prize. Enjoy getting back to you โค๏ธ

Do take time to slow down* and smell the roses (or spot the orbs)! In these moments of stillness, life continues to unfold, and we are a silent observer of life's miracles, with a greater awareness and far more clarity. Realising our soul purpose becomes possible (usually connected to healing in some way, or helping others). Take up Yoga, get out into nature, practice mindfulness - and thank me later!

We all know by now how yoga shifts our state of mind and adds vitality to our being! Here is your mid-week reminder to take just 10 mins time out, connect to your breathing and perhaps enjoy a few mindful postures ๐Ÿ˜€ whether you choose some movement for happy hips, gentle grounding breathwork, something stronger to uplift and energise - the choice is yours and the list is endless - and I'll see you for our next class (whichever one you'll be in) where we cover them all!

Some might find they are sensitive to the electromagnetic energy generated by the solar flare activity currently going on! .. If you are feeling a bit off with anxiety, exhaustion, or energetic imbalance this could be why. For those attending tonight's Yoga, it will be grounding with a nice guided relaxation at the end. And.... you might see the Northern Lights on the way home (look up through your phone camera)! ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

How I start my classes, and how we finish at the end, is something I'm quite picky about. For a proper Yoga session, turning the focus inwards, having awareness of the breath, activating the diaphragm and also aligning the spine are all important. I get that not every gym yoga class starts in Savasana and people may wonder why mine do, but for me its preparation, for the mind, for the body, for the entire being. It sets the tone for the class and takes you into the zone you need to be in. Its not just exercise, its also therapy which nourishes the mind and soul, as well as the body
