This is Meg’s first year as a Professional Golfer and she is making waves within the Ladies Golf Circuit….. Having travelled far and wide recently on different Pro Golf Tours , yesterday saw Meg , on ‘home turf’, bag her first ever Professional Win 🏆

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Natasha is a qualified practitioner of 24 years and specialises in Deep Tissue Massage from Osteopathics Harpenden. Incorporating Trigger Point Therapy into her treatments when required.

Natasha works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This week I celebrate being at Osteopathics Harpenden for 1 Year 🎉🎉🎉

A huge decision for me to take, especially in a Global Pandemic, but I can honestly say in my 24 years of practicing, this was one of the best business decisions I ever made.

From the very 1st day, I have been made to feel part of the Osteopathics Harpenden 'family'

I love working alongside all of you in a professional capacity...

As healthcare providers it is our responsibility to keep the health of our patients and team at the clinic the foremost of our priorities.

As a practitioner, who is dealing with patients in close proximity, my priority is to make your appointments are as safe as possible.

With Covid-19 still spreading I will continue to wear full PPE for your appointments, as directed by Public Health England and my governing body.

I will continue with my stringent cleaning regimes, take your temperature on arrival and ask that you continue to wear a mask in all public areas of the clinic.

I cannot wait for the day we don't need to have such protocols in place...but until then I thank you for your co- operation.

As you will be well aware Boris threw us into a National Lockdown with immediate effect.....

Soooo where do we stand..

Sports Massage and Massage Therapy was allowed to continue within a clinical setting during the November lockdown, alongside Chiropractors and Osteopaths who are , of course allowed to continue to give medical care, taking the strain off the NHS.

I am awaiting the official legal documentation from the Governement and PHE to be provided, and waiting for industry official direction, as to whether I will be able to continue in Tier 5 (ie National Lockdown) It has been announced that clarification will be available tomorrow (7th Jan) so fingers crossed 🤞

Until I have received this I have been directed to cease practising until further notice 😭

As I am sure you can imagine I am devestated.. I have worked hard to create a Covid-19 safe space, for you all to receive your much needed treatments... I do hope that I will be able to resume soon.

Appointments for today and tomorrow will be cancelled and I will be in touch with everyone via email/text for those with appointments..

From a very sad practitioner 😭

Signing Off for Christmas break....

Thank you to all who kindly bought me gifts and cards.. I am totally overwhelmed by your kind words and generosity.

As we are all very aware this Christmas will be very different to what we are accustomed too.. BUT whatever and whoever you spend your time with I hope you all have an amazing time.

I am back in clinic on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th December for emergency treatments at Osteopathics Harpenden so please dont suffer in silence.. Contact me direct should you require an appointment.

**We Are Open**

I am are delighted to confirm that we will remain OPEN through lockdown

We have today been recognised by industry officials and Public Health England as an integral,  and essential part of the Healthcare Service.

Sports / Clinical and Deep Tissue Massage Therapists are therefore allowed to continue to practice , within a medical health clinic, alongside Osteopaths and Chiropractors.

I will continue to risk assess and screen for covid symptoms and will, of course,  continue to practice safely following government and industry guidelines, wear correct PPE and follow the heightened cleaning regimes.

All treatments will go ahead as planned.. However,  If you feel uncomfortable attending please just let me know and I will reschedule your appointment for after lockdown.

Is if I am even writing this again 😓... I am devestated hearing the Governments decision to put us all into a National Lockdown for 4 weeks...

Please bear with me whilst I sift through all the new government regulations, contact industry officials and see where I stand...

At present it is clear that Beauty, Spas and Massage Parlours will have to close from Thursday 5th Novemeber 2020.. All of which I am not !

I need to clarify and confirm whether the restrictions will also include Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy within the clinics, and contact my Insurance Company. (Unfortunately, in the first lockdown ALL massage practices were grouped together and restricted, as you know 😭)

Once I have confirmation, either way, I will compile a plan of action and contact you all via Email, Text and all Social Media platforms.
