Does this resonate with anyone?

The term 'high functioning anxiety' describes a person who seems able to manage the demands of life, despite feeling anxious. 🌩️

High functioning anxiety may be experienced by someone you'd least expect.

It's different to generalised anxiety, because instead of resulting in a flight response, the person typically has a fight response, and works harder to combat the anxiety.

If you believe you may have high-functioning anxiety, treatments available include:
✔️ deep-breathing exercises
✔️ medication as prescribed by your doctor
✔️ cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), from a psychologist
✔️ solutions-focused brief therapy (SFBT), from a psychologist
