I keep spaces limited to allow me to provide 1-2-1 check-in sessions with each member of the group at the start and end of the 5 weeks, and to encourage a firm sense of community.

My next Feel Great in 5 starts in January. I'll be sharing details soon.

Real stories. Real progress. 💛

I love hearing feedback like this. It’s always such a privilege to see how much can change when someone starts to understand their body and put the right support in place.

This client joined one of my 5-week programmes hoping to feel more energised and lose a little weight. What she didn’t expect was how much difference it would make to her hormonal migraines.

“I joined Kate’s 5-week programme looking to lose a little weight and feel more energised. I had no idea that I would also come away from it having put a stop to my hormonal migraines!
My whole adult life, I’ve struggled for at least 3 days a month with pain, brain fog, and lots of time in a dark room. This is a huge change for me, and I’m still pinching myself.
Thank you, Kate!”

Everyone’s experience is unique, but this kind of transformation shows just how powerful it can be to learn what your body needs and respond with the right nutrition and lifestyle changes.

If you’d like to explore how to support your own body and aim for fewer, less intense migraine days, I’d love you to join me for the Feel Great Migraine Reset, starting 1st November.

Have you ever noticed how migraines often strike when your digestion feels off? 💭

It’s not just a coincidence, your gut and brain are in constant conversation, and what’s happening in one can have a real impact on the other.

Emerging research is showing that imbalances in gut bacteria, inflammation, and even “leaky gut” could influence how often migraines occur and how severe they become.

In fact, around 90% of the body’s serotonin (the neurotransmitter that affects mood, sleep, and pain) is made in the gut, so when gut health is out of balance, your brain can feel it too.

In my latest blog, I dive into:
✨ How the gut–brain connection influences migraine frequency and intensity
✨ Common gut-related triggers (and how to spot yours)
✨ Ways to support gut health for calmer, more balanced days

If you experience migraines, especially hormonal migraines, this could be the missing piece of the puzzle.

Could what’s on your plate be making your migraines worse, or helping you have fewer of them?

Research suggests certain foods might trigger migraines for some people, while others can actually help your body become more resilient.

👉 For example: find out why leafy greens and salmon may help reduce migraine severity and frequency and for some prevent recurrence. Understand how keeping blood sugars steady may no longer trigger attacks.

The challenge? Everyone’s triggers and tolerances are different.

That’s why my Feel Great Migraine Reset helps you uncover your unique food connections, with guidance, recipes, and weekly support designed for women in midlife.

✨ Learn how to make food work for you, not against you.

If you live with hormonal migraines, you’ll know just how much they can take over your life.

You plan your month around them. Cancel social plans, miss work, or power through because you have to, only to collapse later.

The nausea. The pounding head. The light sensitivity.
It’s exhausting. It’s frustrating.
And it’s often completely dismissed as “just hormones.”

But it’s not just in your head, and you don’t have to keep suffering.

There’s a lot we can do through nutrition and lifestyle to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, and for some women, eliminate them altogether.

🧡 If this sounds like you, I’d love to welcome you into my free Facebook group, a supportive space where I share practical tips, resources, and advice.

The 80/20 rule doesn’t mean being “bad” 20% of the time.

It means planning for flexibility. Owning your choices 🙌

You could apply it:
• Daily – a square of chocolate after dinner
• Weekly – a Saturday night takeaway
• Monthly – days off during a holiday
(not necessarily all three)

But here’s the deal, if you’re dealing with ongoing fatigue, blood sugar crashes, autoimmune flare-ups or poor gut health, that 20% might be doing more harm than good.

This isn’t about guilt, it’s about knowing your body and choosing wisely.

✨ Your health = your rules. Just make sure they’re working for you.

📖 Not sure what rules you should be applying to reach your health goals and tired of the ‘guess work’? Grab a copy of my free eBook:

Kate Black inform . inspire . encourage health & happiness

My Journey – As a busy TV Producer/Director I was on the classic “grab and go’’ diet, fueling my body with whatever I could find, eating out and ‘drinking’ far too much. Little did I know that these choices played havoc with my health. I was constantly exhausted and run down with colds, cold sores, bad skin, and weight gain. Having children was my wake up call. I became acutely aware of what we ate and made sure everything was clean, natural, organic and fresh. I began to plan and shop efficiently, taught myself to cook nutrient dense food, exercised regularly and lost weight. I glowed, had infinite energy and felt the best ‘ME’ ever. This new found health spurred me into studying at the prestigious Institute for Optimal Nutrition and I’m now passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience to empower you to feel the best ‘YOU’ ever.
