It's been a great couple of weeks, since I launched this page. Thank you to all those who have liked my page and shared with friends. Thanks especially, to those I have treated, who have left reviews. I'm very grateful for all your lovely feedback and suggestions.
It has been a very busy and exciting couple of weeks. Last weekend saw my half way practical massage and anatomy assessments. I'm pleased to report I sailed through both despite feeling a little nervous.
I have been asked what type of clients I treat. I use a variety of massage techniques, stretches and soft tissue techniques. The application is highly individualised and will vary in response to what I find when working with the client as well as their preference.
I have welcomed a wide variety of clients through the door. Clients I have treated include:
- The seasoned athlete (lots of triathletes, marathoners and ultra runners) looking for ongoing maintenance treatment to help trouble shoot early problems and help with recovery throughout their intensive training.
- The client with a recent or chronic injury requiring soft tissue work. I have had clients with sprains, strains and tears. As well as clients who have been discharged from medical professionals following injury but are still struggling with chronic muscle tightness and loss of movement following injury or surgery.
- The client who is in need of some relaxation and release of muscle tension brought on by high stress, sedentary jobs, repetitive manual jobs or poor posture.
Whatever your need, if it's soft tissue related, I would love to hear from you.
My prices remain on a donation basis. This helps cover the costs of insurance, laundry, lotion and helps me reinvest in additional supplies such as couch covers, bolsters and text books and online resources. Suggested £15 for 45minutes, £20 for 1hr.
