I offer a comprehensive range of facial treatments using salon-exclusive brand GUINOT, manicures and pedicures using the award winning brand Mavala, the original soak-off colour gel nail system Bio Sculpture, as well as eye tints and massage. ✨ New Year, New Beginnings ✨

I set up my side hustle in beauty therapy in July 2017. While juggling my 4-day-a-week job, I built my business in my spare time. Last year when I realised my main job wasn’t making me happy and I knew what my passion was, I knew it was time to make a bold move and go solo. 💅💼

Now, I’m proud to say that running Helen Markham Beauty is my main focus, and I’m beyond excited to be able to spend more time on my newest venture Helen Markham Travel! 🌍✈️ For those who know me, you’ll know how much I LOVE curating dream trips for myself and my friends - I set up as an independent travel agent last January and I’ve been booking holidays here, there & everywhere for myself, my family, friends and friends of friends and ever since!

A huge thank you to my supportive husband, family, and friends who’ve been by my side through every step of my moans, tears & struggles and then joy, celebrations & triumphs. Your belief in me means everything! 💖

My Story

Helen Markham at Grove Beauty offers a comprehensive range of face treatments using salon-exclusive Guinot skincare, manicures and pedicures using the award winning brand Mavala, Bio Sculpture Gel Manicures and Pedicures, Swedish Massage (including face & scalp) as well as eye tints and waxing.

I am a fully insured, Champney’s trained Beauty Therapist and I look forward to welcoming you to my beautiful home salon in Southdown, Harpenden.

All my Guinot facial treatments begin with an in depth consultation in order to determine your skin type (dry/oily/combination) and condition or concern (aging, dehydrated, lack of muscle tone, congested, etc). This way I can make sure that I recommend the treatment which is best suited to your skin type and achieves your beauty aims for better results. I can then advise on aftercare and prescribe the correct skincare, should you which to purchase Guinot to continue your skincare regime at home.
