We are delighted to share that Tracy Johnson has been promoted from Wellbeing Lead at Meadowview Care Home to Resident Experience Manager across all Ashberry Healthcare homes.

Tracy has made such a positive impact through her creativity, compassion, and dedication to enhancing the lives of residents, and we are excited to see her bring that passion to homes across the group. In her new role, Tracy will support our teams in creating meaningful experiences, strengthening resident wellbeing, and helping every Ashberry home continue to feel vibrant, engaging, and full of life.

What an incredible effort from the team at Broomy Hill Nursing Home !

Our Move for Mental Health fundraiser in support of Herefordshire Mind brought together staff, residents’ families and friends, all united to make every mile count for such an important cause.

Between us, we cycled an amazing 123.3 miles, with 15 participants taking part and some fantastic distances achieved (special mentions to Lauren on 26.2 miles, Gemma on 21.1 miles, and Ndidi on 12.9 miles!). We were also delighted to see Val, a resident’s wife, hop on the bike and help us push that little bit further.

On Friday, our walking challenge kept the momentum going, with 6 participants covering a total of 14.2 miles between 10 am and 5 pm in support of better mental health. So far, we’ve raised over £80 and are incredibly grateful for every donation received. Today at The Weir Nursing Home we enjoyed a special morning of horse therapy, during which Simon spent a peaceful time with a beautiful Norwegian Fjord pony named Loffy. Having had horses of his own in the past, Simon shared fond memories of life on his farm while enjoying the calm and comfort of being around the horses in a beautiful setting 😊

As a local Wolverhampton charity, Compton Care provides specialist palliative and bereavement support to individuals living with life-limiting conditions, as well as vital support to their families and loved ones. What a truly special day celebrating 60 years of Engelberg Care Home!
From recreating the original opening photograph 60 years on, to hearing wonderful memories shared by residents, families, and our team, the day was a beautiful celebration of Engelberg’s history and community spirit.
A huge thank you to the Wolverhampton Mayor for joining us and unveiling our recreated photograph, marking such an important milestone in Engelberg’s journey.
Thank you as well to our Home Manager Sally Lloyd, our dedicated team, residents, families, entertainers, and everyone who helped make the celebration so memorable.
Here’s to many more years of providing care, compassion, and a true home-from-home for the Wolverhampton community. 🏡✨

At Moorhouse Care Home , Jill wanted to visit a coffee shop and spend some time out, so we went to Grayshott Pottery to look around and enjoy a coffee. She really enjoyed the visit and said it was her best day, adding that she would love to go again. Jill was very thankful for the lovely treat ☕

Meadowview Care Home recently went on a lovely community outing to make Chris's Ashberry wish to visit Irlam train station come true! Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, friendly chats with the local community, watching the trains pass by, and exploring the café museum 🚂

Yesterday, Joan from The Weir Nursing Home enjoyed a lovely day out, reminiscing about the Hereford May Fayre and conversations about visits from previous years. She also had a relaxed trip into town, browsing in Marks and Spencer, enjoying tea and cake, and spending time in Boots before finishing with a sandwich in a cafe 😊
