🐴 Full or Part-Time Groom
🎓 Full-Time Level 2 or 3 Apprentice
🏇 Horse Trainer/ Rider (full or part-time for April & May, could lead to permanent position)
This is an incredible opportunity to work with a huge range of horses alongside top horse trainers in a busy, professional yard.
We specialise in:
✔️ Starting young horses for all disciplines
✔️ Working with horses with behavioural or ridden issues
Please note: this is a busy, hands-on yard. The work is physical and demanding, but we are a great, close-knit team with plenty of learning opportunities from some of the best in the business and real progression within different areas of Your Horsemanship.
If you’re hardworking, motivated and keen to crack on, we’d love to hear from you. We do not currently have accommodation on site, but we would help find suitable accommodation for the ideal candidates!

I just love horses 🥲

Moments like this remind me how special it is to do what I do. Watching a horse deeply process after treatment — the soft eyes, the lowered head, the quiet release — is such a privilege to witness. It’s in these subtle changes that you can almost ‘see’ the body letting go and beginning to heal.

Being trusted to play a small part in a horse’s rehabilitation journey is something I never take for granted. Every session is a reminder of how incredible these animals are, and how much they give when we listen.

Horses can talk — through tension, movement and stillness. We just need to listen.

Every treatment is guided by subtle changes in posture, muscle tone, behaviour and response. Using a soft, evidence-led approach allows the nervous system to regulate, supporting improved tissue quality, circulation and functional movement.

Often, it’s the softest touch and the smallest adjustments that create the most meaningful change — helping horses move more freely, comfortably and with confidence.

✔ Value collaboration between physio, vet, farriers and other paraprofessionals
✔ Prioritise long-term soundness over quick fixes

My role isn’t just to treat — it’s to help guide horses from injury, through rehabilitation, and back to work safely.

📣 Exciting (and Adorable) Staff Update!

GVP is proud to announce the arrival of its newest — and certainly cutest — team member: Martha 🐶🐾

At just 12 weeks old, she has already promoted herself to Chief of Chaos (a position she takes very seriously).

Despite the sleepless nights, we wouldn’t have her any other way — she’s already completely adored! ❤️

Martha will be making her grand debut at visits once she’s big enough to join me on the road. Until then, if I look a little more tired than usual at your appointment… you can guess who’s responsible 😂🫣

Huge shout-out to Erin who has been working SO hard with both ponies Harry and Whizz and seeing brilliant results! 🐴💖

Watching their partnership grow stronger each week has been such a joy and we are truly thrilled with their recent successes, claiming wins in both the 75cm Pony Club Regional Eventing Championships AND the 75cm NSEA National Qualifier at Hickstead.
