Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting our first annual Care Assistant Awards. It was a celebration of the Care Assistants who really are at the heart of our organisation. We had 7 awards - 1 of which was in memory of a very dear colleague - David Chibiya - who sadly passed away early 2024. We were honoured that David's family attended our celebration in order to present the award to the winner 🏆.

At Caremark Harrogate, we understand the importance of ongoing training. No matter what job anyone does, we are always learning. We want to ensure that the quality of care that our customers receive is top rate, so our team of Care Assistants attend regular training sessions to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded!

Our wonderful office staff surprised one of our lovely customers with an early Christmas gift.... a cushion with a picture of her late husband detailed on it. I think it's safe to say that Marsha was happy with the present 🎁

December 1st-7th is Crohns and Colitis awareness week.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease is a condition which affects around 500,000 people in the UK. At Caremark in Harrogate, we understand the challenges that IBD can bring. One of our Directors - Ben - has Crohns disease. We understand that it is a condition that can be hard to talk about, but this week, it is a chance to learn about those living with the condition, and what can be done to help.

Reasons to be happy.... a trip to York. Such a beautiful city. Full of history, life and charm 😁. Our Directors took a day trip into York centre at the weekend - and what a lovely day it was. Some christmas shopping might have also taken place 😉
