Isometric calf raises might be the answer to your chronic pain .....

Isometric calf raises strengthen the tendons in the ankle, increasing stability and strength. This increased stability and strength helps decrease your chance of getting medial shin splints. As well as making your foot stiffer, which is a key advantage to any running race!

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Cyclocross 🚴‍♀️ — the hardest race in the UK!

400 riders, sunshine, and a course that pushed every limit. I conquered Ingleborough and Whernside but missed the Pen-y-Ghent cut-off by 11 minutes. Gutted… but also so proud. Just 4 months postpartum and already back chasing big goals. Next year, I’ll be back to finish what I started 💪✨

First cyclocross race since giving birth 4 months ago — came 17th out of 26 women!
Honestly, I'm just so proud I didn’t come last, especially as I’m still a stone heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight.
I really hope this encourages more women to get involved in sport. If you’ve recently had a baby and you’re waiting for the ‘right moment’ — don’t. Just go for it. There is no perfect time, and you will be so proud of yourself for showing up and getting stuck in.
