Cardiovascular Disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide. In the UK alone, it claims nearly 180,000 lives annually - that’s about 1 in every 4 deaths, according to the British Heart Foundation.
Despite their physically demanding work, construction workers face an above-average risk of developing heart disease due to stress, a poor diet, smoking, and long hours.
