The Bank Holiday is upon us and whilst we’re not expecting sunshine ☀️ and blue skies 🙄, if you are heading out to eat this weekend, here are some handy tips to help you navigate the long weekend and avoid any scales regret 😭 on Tuesday morning.

Look 👀 at the menu beforehand to decide what you can have, if you need help choosing, let me know.

Don’t be afraid to ask 🙋 how something is cooked or prepared so you can avoid fatty or fried foods.

Don’t be afraid to call ☎️ the restaurant and request a simple meal of eg. Chicken 🍗 and salad in advance of your visit.

Consider having a couple of starters 🍴 in place of your main course.

Always eat a 1:1 Diet product before you arrive at a restaurant so you are not ravenously hungry and reach for bread whilst you wait for your food.

Always keep a sweet product in your bag – a bar or bag of bites, so when dessert or coffee arrives, you have something discreet that you can eat. 😋

Pick your restaurant wisely. So many places share the calorie content of each meal on their menu these days.

Remember that while you are on The 1:1 Diet you shouldn’t drink alcohol. If you have serious FOMO then try a sparkling water in a wine glass or add some The 1:1 Diet Water Flavouring with plenty of ice. 💧💦
