Cleeve Primary Annual STB (Supervised Tooth Brushing) Visit 🦷

We visited the Nursery and Reception classes where the children proudly showed off their fantastic toothbrushing skills. We talked about how to keep our teeth clean and healthy and had some great discussions along the way.

Fizz-Free February at North Point 💙

Our Oral Health Team had a fantastic day at North Point Shopping Centre supporting Fizz-Free February!

We loved chatting to families about the impact fizzy drinks can have on little teeth (and grown-up ones too!) and sharing simple swaps to help reduce sugar intake. From water and milk choices to reading hidden sugar labels, every small change makes a big difference.

It was great to see so many children getting involved, asking brilliant questions and showing us their best toothbrushing techniques 🦷✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and take on the Fizz-Free February challenge with us. Let’s keep working together to protect those smiles!

Genesis Pre-School 🦖🦷

We delivered an oral health talk, and Dipsy even got to meet one of his toothbrushing dinosaur friends!

The children have been learning all about the importance of dental health and each has their own dinosaur and toothbrush to practise toothbrushing in a fun, hands-on way .

Harrogate Oral Health Team visited Wheeler Street Primary School to deliver oral health talks to the Nursery and Reception classes.

We had a fantastic time with the Nursery and Reception classes. The children were really engaged, loved dressing up as dentists, and enjoyed learning about healthy snacks for happy teeth.

Swap fizzy drinks for healthier choices this February 💧

Fizzy drinks are a major source of sugar for children and teenagers and a leading cause of tooth decay in the UK. Reducing sugary drinks helps protect teeth and supports better long-term health.

💡 Easy swaps:
Water or low-fat milk
Sparkling water or lower-sugar drinks
Add fruit to water for flavour
Use smaller glasses

Schools, workplaces and families are encouraged to sign the pledge and take part this February to build healthier habits that last. 💙

The Harrogate Oral Health Team is busy this week promoting healthy smiles across Hull! 🦷

Here’s where you’ll find us:
• Mon 2 Feb: Westside Longhill Pre-School – supervised toothbrushing & annual stock delivery.
• Tue 3 Feb: House of Light play session (10–11am) & Genesis Pre-School – supervised toothbrushing & stock delivery.
• Wed 4 Feb: Fizz-Free February event at North Point Shopping Centre (10am–4pm).
• Fri 6 Feb: Tallulah Beau Nursery – supervised toothbrushing & annual stock delivery.

We’ll be supporting families and professionals with practical oral health advice and resources, helping children develop healthy habits from the start.
