💚 A Huge Thank You from Our Bramley Team 💚

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has kindly dropped off clothes, food, and toiletries at our Bramley office. Your generosity is already making a real difference.

So far, we’ve been able to donate to Helping Hands UK and Kirkstall Valley Development Trust , and next week – on Friday 12th September – we’ll be making our next delivery of donations to Bramley Care Bears Group.

If you’d like to add something to this next collection, please feel free to drop donations at our office before then – just pass them to Jodie and she’ll make sure they get included.

Together, we’re helping to support brilliant local organisations and the people who rely on them. Thank you again for being part of this 💚

📌 Coming Soon – Community Notice Board in Harrogate 📌

We’re excited to share that a brand-new community notice board will soon be installed above our Community Library at our Harrogate building!

This space will be available for local people, groups and organisations in Bilton and the surrounding area to share details of their events, meetings, or workshops – completely free of charge.

If you’re part of a local group and would like to promote something to the community, please get in touch with us. We’d love to help display your poster or flyer.

We hope this notice board will become a great way of keeping everyone connected and celebrating all the brilliant things happening locally 💚

🌿 Free Online Bereavement Support Group - 03.09.25 at 5.30pm 🌿

At Full Circle Funerals, we know that grief can feel overwhelming, and no one should have to go through it alone. That’s why we host a free bereavement support group, offering a safe and gentle space to share experiences, listen, and connect with others who understand.

The group is open to anyone who has experienced a loss – you don’t need to have arranged a funeral with us to come along. Together, we talk, share, and simply spend time with people who “get it.”

✨ Friendly, welcoming, and free to attend
✨ A place to build connections and find comfort

If you’d like to join or want to know more, please feel free to get in touch with ruth@fullcirclefunerals.co.uk or call 01943 26 26 26 – you’ll always be welcome. 💛

💛 September is Su***de Prevention Month 💛

At Full Circle Funerals, we believe that looking after each other and keeping conversations open around mental health can save lives. That’s why this month we’re proud to support Su***de Prevention Month and stand alongside the amazing team at Andys Man Club

Andy’s Man Club run free, welcoming groups every Monday evening at 7pm (except Bank Holidays) – safe spaces where men can talk, listen, and find support without judgement. There local clubs in lots of spots around the UK now but the ones close to us can be found at, Andys Man Club Harrogate, Andys Man Club Horsforth, Andys Man Club Leeds & Andys Man Club Ilkley

We know how powerful community can be, and we’re proud to back a movement that makes such a difference locally and across the country. Every chat, every cuppa, and every shared story helps to break down stigma and remind people they’re not alone.

👉 If you, or someone you know, is struggling, please know there’s support out there – whether it’s Andy’s Man Club, your GP, or just starting a conversation with a friend. Talking really does help.

Healing Through Grief: How Good Food Can Help – Watch Our Recorded Talk with Sabine Horner

Grief affects both the mind and body in deep ways. If you missed our live session with Sabine Horner, Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Therapist, now you can watch the full recorded talk to discover how nutrition can ease grief symptoms and support your overall well-being.

In this insightful webinar, Sabine shares her personal experience of loss and her professional expertise to explain how grief impacts physical health—especially through the gut—and why symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, and digestive issues are so common after a major loss.

Learn practical, easy-to-apply strategies for:

Managing emotional eating

Understanding what your grief symptoms might mean

Recognizing what your food cravings reveal about your body’s needs

Using meals to improve mood, energy, focus, and resilience

Creating balanced, nourishing daily meal routines

Sabine offers simple meal ideas, food swaps, natural remedies, and self-care practices that can help ease the physical and emotional toll of grief.

Whether you’re navigating grief yourself or working in health, bereavement, or end-of-life care, this recorded session provides valuable insights to support healing from the inside out.

We’re incredibly grateful to Helen for these kind and thoughtful words about Anne, our funeral director and operations lead.

At such a difficult time, Anne supported the family in planning a funeral that not only honoured Helen’s mum but also made it more accessible and suitable for her dad, who lives with dementia.

Creating a funeral that reflects the needs of everyone involved is something we care deeply about – and we’re so glad that Anne was able to help in this meaningful way. 💛

Let’s Talk Funerals 💬🕊️

Talking about funerals might feel a bit unusual, but it can really help bring peace of mind. We’d love to know where you're at:

💡 Which of these feels most true for you?

1️⃣ I’ve never really thought about my own funeral
2️⃣ I know what I want, but I haven’t recorded it in any way
3️⃣ I’ve talked to someone about my wishes
4️⃣ I’ve written down or recorded my funeral preferences
5️⃣ I’ve helped organise a funeral and it made me think differently

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments – we’re here for open, gentle conversations 💛
