We are delighted to share this month’s nominations for Carer of the Month for December 2025.
This award is an opportunity to recognise colleagues who consistently demonstrate outstanding care, professionalism, teamwork, and compassion in their roles. Please choose who you feel deserves the recognition.
⭐️ Bridget S - Nominated for being reliable, organised, and consistently punctual. She is described as clever and knowledgeable, always knowing where to find information and resources, and providing dependable support to both clients and colleagues.
⭐️ Laura K - Nominated for consistently demonstrating excellent person-centred care. Laura is kind, compassionate, and attentive to what clients truly want and need. She goes above and beyond to safeguard clients and recently supported a client’s transition into residential care in her own time, ensuring the best possible outcome.
⭐️ Fiona M - Nominated for exceptional leadership and support during a very challenging period for clients and the wider team. Fiona has shown kindness, resilience, and professionalism, keeping the client’s best interests at the centre of all decisions while offering guidance, reassurance, and emotional support to colleagues.
⭐️ Shona M - Nominated for her constant support and reassurance to staff during both day and night shifts. Shona takes time to communicate clearly, ensure staff feel informed and confident, and shows genuine empathy and kindness towards both clients and colleagues.
⭐️ Charles M - Nominated for his willingness to learn and his positive integration into the team. Charles consistently shows warmth, kindness, and a fun, engaging personality that helps clients feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for.
⭐️ Sharon K - Nominated for going above and beyond for clients, particularly during cleaning calls, where she completes additional tasks without being asked. Sharon is an excellent team player who gives 100% at all times and is a pleasure to work with.
⭐️ Zoe S - Recognised for her compassion, leadership, and exceptional support to both colleagues and families during emotionally difficult circumstances. Zoe has demonstrated kindness and professionalism, particularly in supporting a colleague at the hospital and ensuring the wider team felt supported.
