Come and support our care professionals as they take on a team of nurses from Macclesfield District General Hospital in our annual charity football match.

We’re delighted to share that our branch has raised £515 for Harrogate & District Community Action after completing the Nidderdale Charity Walk & Run Sunday 17th May 2026 👏

The team completed the 15-mile route through upper Nidderdale in support of HADCA’s HELP services, which provide practical and emotional support to people across the Harrogate District.

This was our third year taking part in the event, and we’re so proud of everyone who completed the walk. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us and helped raise vital funds for such a wonderful local charity! 💙

Congratulations to Helen on her 5-year workversary at our branch! 🎉

Helen joined Carefound Home Care in 2021 with no professional care experience and has gone on to make a fantastic impact through her dedication, hard work and caring approach.

After progressing to Senior Care Professional in 2022, Helen has continued to be a wonderful support to our clients and the wider team. She is always willing to help others, works tirelessly and leads by example every day.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Helen has achieved over the past five years and very grateful for the difference she makes.

For Mental Health Awareness Week, our teams across Carefound Home Care came together to support important conversations around mental health and well-being.

Activities included Wear It Green Day, well-being meetings, planting seeds as a simple reminder that our mental health needs tending to, and a CALM activity to share simple ways we can look after ourselves and support one another.

It was a lovely opportunity for our teams to come together, reflect on well-being and make sure everyone knows what support is available across Carefound Home Care. 💙

We’re so proud to share the story of our client Michael!

After a serious cycling accident and a period of rehabilitation, Michael from Malton has returned to his much-loved Saturday routine at Dalby Forest parkrun supported by his live-in care professional, Gavin.

With the help of his friends, rehabilitation team and our live-in care professionals, Michael has rebuilt his strength, confidence and independence, and now takes part in parkrun every weekend.

Stories like Michael’s show the real difference live-in care can make, helping people continue doing the things they love in the communities they’re part of.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 💜

This year’s theme reminds us that even small actions can make a big difference.

We know that well-being is about much more than physical health. For many older people, companionship, a kind conversation, and feeling truly listened to can have a positive impact on their mental health and quality of life.

It’s also a reminder to look after the mental health of our team. Our care professionals give so much of themselves every day, which is why we provide ongoing support and well-being resources whenever they need guidance, reassurance, or someone to turn to.

We’re also proud to be taking part in Wear It Green Day to show our support for good mental health.

Whether it’s checking in with a client, supporting a colleague, calling a loved one, or taking a moment for yourself, every positive action matters.

Because caring for others starts with caring for each other.
